
A man accused of leading the alleged pyramid scheme of RainbowEX in Córdoba has been arrested at his home in Alta Gracia. The 1st Prosecutor's Office of Alta Gracia reported that, in the investigation of frauds using virtual currencies in a Ponzi scheme, five individuals have been charged and the arrest of the supposed leader and organizer of the criminal network has been ordered.
The detainee, Pablo Díaz Mussi, will be transferred and held in a Penitentiary Establishment of the Province of Córdoba. The investigation was conducted thanks to the joint work with specialists in digital evidence analysis from the Operational Investigation Directorate of Judicial Police (DIO) and the Investigation Division of the Alta Gracia Department and the Economic Crimes Division of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Córdoba Police.
According to the statement from the Public Prosecutor's Office of the province, the raids conducted in Alta Gracia and Villa Los Aromos allowed for the seizure of digital and documentary evidence that linked Mussi as the leader and organizer of the criminal group in Córdoba, with connections in San Pedro.
Regarding the complexity of the case and the number of victims involved, complaints and testimonies continue to be received, as well as additional evidence being incorporated. Authorities announced that in the coming hours, the accused will be questioned to advance the investigation.
